I am very suprised at this game. I thought it would be tons of fun but the first game i see is a game that is blatanly racist towards my own people. Why do we have units that give 100 attack against only black people??

well the map wasn't created by the admins but by one of the players
I agree it is not a very likeable description hopefully it will be removed very soon

As Hdrakon stated, this map was not created by the creators of the game. If you are offended by a small description which was intended to be dry humor, feel free to leave the game and join another. You are not forced to play this map, as there are hundreds of other game types and maps to play. This map was created to be accurate based on the facts of history. If you can not handle the past, then please... move on. I do not see any racism intended, nor do I see anything wrong with the statement.

This was made for the map to work, you see. Otherwise it won't be as fun. Just shrug it off, maybe go play another game.

Ignore everything racist you dont like.Just dont play it.There are a lot of ggg maps you can play them istead this.

I wouldn't feel offended if someone made a unit having 100+ defense against "Nazis" or whatever racial slur you want to put instead. It seems riciolous to me that everything in this world has to be 100% politically correct or someone will feel offended. Therefore I don't really care about this matter.

Words are nothing more than slurs of sounds that we allocate meaning to.

Good for you ...for not being offended by a racial slur that doesnt describe in a insulting way your skin color, political or religious views. How do you do it ...how are you not offended by a word that doesnt describe you?

There are various racial slurs towards whites and Germans in various cultural and national groups. But why would I care? Why would blacks care? I tell you why, because they were trained from their birth that they are victims. That the white men supresses them. Negro is a perfectly fine word and was for a very long time more polite than just calling them blacks or colored people. Even Martin Luther King reffered to his kind as Negro during his speeches. Blacks identified themselves as negros, that was their preferred term for long times and for some older blacks still is. This changed only during the 1970s were everything a white would call an African american would be considered negative by the blacks. In many Latin countries the term negro or Niger (not to be mistaken with nigger) is still common and not a racial slur in any case. Note even the latest US census of 2010 still included the term as many (before you twist my words, not the majority) blacks rather identify temselve with negro. Pretty harsh racial slur there right?

Negro is Spanish for black, I don't see the big issue with using the term. As ordnung said " Even Martin Luther King referred to his kind as Negro during his speeches". The way he said it, however, is obviously a racial joke. But that is just my opinion and everyone is entitled to there own. The expedition's defense bonus is to make the troops easily conquer Africa as they did in colonial days. So, I see no big issue.

Actually. he' being accurate. Whites had better tech than blacks back then. So it's damn improbable for some blacks with some spears attack a expedition wich has armor and weapons.

Are you black? If so, don't play that map. Or, send a PM to the creator of that map, voicing your opinion. This is not a public problem, but a private one, friend. If not, why are being offended? Why do you care? No one's being hurt/caring. If yo truly see it as a problem, do the above.

I honestly cannot stand anything politically correct, as it completely polarizes any sort of gray area possible for these sort of issues.

If the creator of this map gave the natives +100 attack towards "whites", I would not be offended. This is just simply a cry for help from the minorities for absolutely no reason. This map was created to be accurate. There are hundreds of other maps to play, so get over it.

Tunders doing dont hurt meh ;_; In all honesty though it is historically correct which is why until told to do to they french expedition forces are staying.

This might sound harsh but we are on the internet. People here rely to using harmful words or phrases because we are safe behind our computer screens. To get offended by what some fat-22-year-old-college-dropout thinks of your race or religion is pointless. Yes the game has rules against it but this happens in every part of the internet. Best way to get over it is to move on and if you cant deal with it then click the ignore button. Complaining in the forums will never solve the problem as when 1 racist is banned 3 more take his place.
