Hello, Dave here, your friendly neighborhood atWar developer. They released me temporarily from the insane asylum where I've been for the past 10 months. My wife and I decided to use this small reprieve to get away for a few days. We stayed in a place that had no cell phone reception whatsoever, which was awesome. Now I'm back, and on my last evening of freedom I find myself thinking about how my OTHER insane asylum (atWar) is doing.
I'm glad to see things are still rolling along, more or less the same as always. It was especially nice to see how Amok came and said "hi" not too long ago. (Hi back at ya!)
I miss my peeps who I haven't talked to in a long time like Sid, Croat, Brian, Estus, Pavle, my atWar "wife" MrPhobos, my atWar "daughter"-I-never-wanted Zoe, and everyone else I'm forgetting at the moment because it's 2am (sorry!)
My project that's been keeping me away from atWar all this time is still keeping me extremely busy, but for the first time I think I can say there is a "light at the end of the tunnel". We've staffed up significantly over the past couple months, and I've been investing a lot of time into training my newest employees... as I delegate more to them, I no longer have to do so much grunt work myself. I'm hoping this will pay dividends as we move towards the end of the year.
Anyway, I look forward to working on atWar once more, whenever I start to have free time again. I don't have any ETA but probably the first thing I'll do is finish automating the CW playoffs so we can get those up and running again, without me having to set them up myself each time...
I know, I know, there are about a million other things that need doing too. I'll get to them eventually.
Our server costs have recently gone up, which I'm pretty sure means atWar is running at a loss now. I haven't added it all up, but I'm pretty sure. It's okay, never fear... I will continue to keep the servers going as long as I personally still enjoy being here, which I expect will continue for many years to come. Anyone hoping for me to sell the game will therefore be sorely disappointed! (As I said before, I don't plan to ever sell, and I have received zero serious offers anyway...)
atWar is a labor of love, and I'm glad to continue it on.
So.... keep enjoying atWar and keep hanging in there... you'll be hearing from me.
P.S. if you have any (real) questions for me feel free to post them in the comments below and I'll reply when I can...
Hello Dave, If you want to get money from Atwar you should add AI single play mod because people is wasting to much time to wait to see their lovely maps and scenarios start. If we join and start game immediately we will play more when we play more we will want to buy more subscriptions. Faster games will attract more players more players more money more money is better life:))

Making an IA would take so long, tho it would be p fun to have those tho it should have probably red sp multiplier if there are no players, like if the IA is actually good at playing making it like 75%sp mult capped would be cool or if the IA is too eazy then spmult capped at 25%. Also it would be p good that the tutorials are finished so Newer players dont have to search stuff for things that are kinda common knowledge for other players that do have the time to do their research and test.
Edit: this is what i think tho i am not that experienced in this game and just started not long ago, and im not a game dev so its just my personal opinión.

Prob not a good question but we are much forward in time now, could you pls consider unbanning players? In relation to that I don't see many issues for the last maybe 2 years, and surely there won't be many problems in the future either?

It appears that we've all taken some time off to pursue other endeavors.
However, we are and will continue to reunite here, even after our long and busy sabbaticals.
