Just a hobby for me personally. But have has anyone ever put thought into their countries laws and policies?

Actual realistic laws? Not "Increase the minimum wage to €15" or €20 or "ban all Muslims"

What kind of question is this? So, you're asking if anyone has ever thought about the laws of his or her country, barring political posturing that isn't strictly enacted? Yes, many people have, including myself.

I've thought about law at length, mostly as it relates to the Constitution of the United States as the governing law of the land. I've also thought about state-based laws with respect to the powers reserved by the states. What I've thought about recently is Herman Avery Gundy v. United States and its impact on about 500 000 sex offenders, seeing how my father was directly impacted by the Supreme Court's decision, effectively reducing his very life to the will of the Attorney General of the United States, see:

Fuck no. Anything 'realistic' is pointless. RealPolitik is governed by billionaires. Anything good, moral, decent or popular is condemned. The only realistic policies are an acceleration of what we already have.
