Both clans fought it out tonight to maintain hopes of taking that #1 spot. Both clans had chosen decent countries in what looked like a close encounter.
Skenderbeu's Germany honestly could and should of been better. Missing out on Denmark and failing at Sweden really did cost him as Safari looked to take them the next turn. Hdrakon didn't do any better failing to take any good country apart from Luxembourg. Luis expected Hdrakon to rush Belgium and Spain (Chess) to rush Ireland. His solution? Send around 30 units to Ireland and the remaining off to Netherlands. It worked that's for sure, but how good of a move was it really?
By turn 3, Safari managed to steamroll his troops into Berlin with 11 units + Gen. Nothing much elsewhere, apart from the fact it was pretty clear DrTroll was going to take Safari's beloved Kiev and Hdrakon was going to be capped by Luis in Paris. Apart from the obvious cappings (the next turn), we also noticed some changes. Safari's Gen stood strong as 2 units defended the first wave to recap Skenderbeu. But instead of Safari taking Germany's cities, Chess opted to take them instead. Chess also started to spread his expansion across Europe. Taking small unnoticeable land which wouldn't seem as "important to deal with" for the enemy. During turn 5 the spectators were preparing to see whether Chess would take Paris or cap Luis' London. He took London first, in which he also stated earlier on "I was surprised since I thought he would pour more units in to defend London, yet he didn't and I captured him". Safari had been defeated (and so had hdrakon) after but Chess had France in his hands too. It was a 1v1 between Chess and DrTroll. Spain Vs Turkey. Western Europe against Eastern Europe.
Many have seen Chess' tactical approach before. He spams large multiple stacks across Europe and attacks different areas at one time. Hard to predict whether he was PD or Imp Spain. Either way, towards the end it got a bit too overwhelming for DrTroll and he quit.

Match rating - 7/10 - lacked dramatic changes. Was not what we thought it would be. (Lacked a bit or Barga)

Man of the Match - Chess - Intelligent play through out, could not be stopped.

[pr] luis: na wouldn't say it so........it was a bad day for him but this is no problem for BM.....we will be 1 in this season

[pr] luis: nobody actually i would make the same team in every cw bm have to play

[pr] ~Safari: I think both teams did well. According to my performance i have to say that it wasn't the best game i ever played, but at least i could take down Germany, what helped the game of VS a lot.
[pr] ~Safari: I am glad that our great Chess survived in the game and it seemed that he made good chances to win this for us
[pr] L. Dark Knight: ~Safari: Yes, you seem to be over reliant on Chess in recent days. Is your clan starting to turn into a one-man clan?
[pr] ~Safari: haha no. but he is the last man on the battle field for on our side, therefore i have to as much positive things about him as posible (maybe some positive energy goes into the game)
[pr] L. Dark Knight: ~Safari: You've come and played Bite Me today, and you've beaten them. You've seen probably the strengths and weaknesses of your clan in cws, what do you think you will be working on in the future, to improve your clan's perfomance?
[pr] ~Safari: well we need to improve in many ways. We did many small mistakes and there are always things you can make better

[pr] Chess: i am happy and surprised that I won

[pr] Chess: I expected that luis would have send more units to london
[pr] Chess: however apparently he didnt have any reinforcements or cash
[pr] Chess: which gave me the oppurnity to capture him
[pr] L. Dark Knight: Chess: And you succeded in doing so. During that first turn when Hdrakon failed, what was going through your mind?
[pr] Chess: I thought that we would lose
[pr] Chess: he made a mistake with attacking netherland with just a few units, but it made luis weak
[pr] Chess: safari then managed to turn everything around with his amazing sm ukraine skills and turned the game around
[pr] Chess: i was surprised that germany got capped by him
[pr] L. Dark Knight: Chess: Germany (Skenderbeu) had a part in BM losing. He had a bad day at the office with his terrible Germany expansion. And as a result it gave your clan hope.
[pr] L. Dark Knight: Chess: Who do you think you will be aiming to cw in the future?
[pr] Chess: we dont know that, it really depends on who is willing to play against us and with what lineup
[pr] L. Dark Knight: Chess: Good enough response I guess. On a positive note, after todays dominance and your thrashing of Syndicate a few weeks back, what position do you think your clan will finish this season?
[pr] Chess: I cant really say that, it really depends on how many coalition will try to cw this season

Chess played well. BM would have won though if luis played a bit smarter after he capped france.

Since chess hardly made any mistakes why doesnt he get 10* rating?

Nice report. i faild at defending my capital when i took out 2 infantries in the last seconds, and lost the capital to 2 militias and 1 general ><

Safari 8/10 - committed suicide but killed germany

Chess man of the match

After week 1 i thought it would be a easy game for us, but i underrated chess. together with some mistakes from luis, he took over the whole west europe before the 2. reinforcement.

ah and btw , let all those who think theyre better than old school players watch this cw and compare it with their noobish gameplay

With chess in my team as rank6 i always won we had faith on him ,idk what to say more probably best player of aw as long as he stayed in vs.
