What can an AW mod do?

I want to highlight things mods can do which we mere mortals cannot, because lately there are some people trying very hard to have this status, however it can be very dangerous in the wrong hands (more than you previously thought so), although maybe there are current mods already abusing without our knowledge...?
(By all means this is not absolutely EVERYTHING a mod can do and you might already know these things so I apologize if I hurt anyone's ego)
What can an AW mod do: the obvious ones of course;
- warn/mute/ban
- delete topics/lock topics
- edit posts/delete posts.. maybe more.
The (maybe) not so obvious:
- Cannot be banned from games
- Cannot be muted/ignore listed
- Can enter your private games without the password. *Optimized by the /afk command
- Change game settings without them being accepted by everyone/during the game turns
- Change game settings without being in the game
- Check your IPs (and where you live
)
- See who are in a certain game lobby/ See who is spectating a game
- Delete in-game chat posts
As I already mentioned, there may be more that I don't know/missed. Mods please don't delete this, since this post isn't to bash at you guys, instead it's a 'warning' towards the community that most players should not be trusted with these powers so don't just recommend anyone to become a mod since it is self-evident that they have a major influence over the community.

This is extremely incomplete you missed out the part where we have the nuclear launch code for the USA and the fact that we can summon dragons. There are far more but if I were to tell you all of them I would crash the forum with a giant wall of text.

I personally don't think Clovis being a mod would be such a bad thing. Maybe he debates some things too much, maybe he isn't straight up all the time about wanting to be a mod.. but he's a good guy, he's always helpful and encouraging lower ranks to come back to the game. But most importantly he only has good intentions; just because other mods don't agree with him on some matters or are suspicious of him w/e doesn't mean he would be bad at it.

Honestly i like clovis and i admire his contribution to the game and i think he would make a great mod IF he matures. The main problems i have with him are these. 1. Snitch : Clovis is the biggest report source, he alone reports more than all the other players combined.(or atleast used to) Thats horrible, nobody likes a snitch and thats not what this community needs. Clovis sees every situation as black and white and he is too politically correct. Mods need to be diplomats and resolvers, not automated robotized rule enforcers. 2. Contrarian nature : Clovis goes to great lengths to argue with people for even the slightest of things and that results in him having to manipulate and twist facts, to drive his points home. In simple words he is oftenly borderline lying and thats not a great quality for a future mod to have. p.s. example of mod lying. its not good.

One of the biggest complaints is that mods are not rule enforcers... they can be unpredictable with inconsistent bans/mutes etc. At least Clovis is consistent and you know what you get with the reports... you could argue he is half doing the mod job already. He's 17 years old, and for his age he is very mature. He nit picks at stuff sure ( I don't agree with you that he lies.. he believes in his arguments and will try anything to make others see his perspective) ... but it proves he gives a shit about the game.. it's not such a bad quality for a mod to have. I don't see the big deal with being mod or why anyone would want to, but I know having good mods is important; I think most do a fantastic job: Brian, deviL, Lao are some of the best IMO, and I think if given the chance Clovis would be up there ... maybe not right away, but he should definitely be considered someday (maybe when he is 18).

Clovis mature?... is this dark humour? Compare some wannabe mods with mature mods like acqui, pinheiro, hugosch... poor admins dont have options anymore when chosing new mods

Mature, you say? if anything he is the complete opposite. Only a child would entrench himself on a position and lie and cry to get it his way. Clovis never changes his position, even if he knows his position is wrong/false and does more bad than good.
it depends on your definition of "good" mod. in all seriousness, if u want a decent mod; pick khalesi or aetius (since tik-tok is not active)
