Why pd?

Why does everyone play pd in 10k eu games? Why are all other strategies shunned?

They play PD because it is most effective,cheap,etc. Literally i like to play with expensive strategies so...

Nah, dont troll. I remember some scenarios when there are some OP infantry-defensive unit vs infantry.

I mean, if a PD player spam only PD infantries, a counter-infantry unit like machine gunners must be don't rare in game.

Europe+10k particularly west europe is a strong setting for pd(low start funds high reins). All the other strategies are by no means shunned but its nothing surprising its so popular there.

the same is true for mos marines and sm bombers. Pd is powerful and versatile but it is also overrated mainly due to ignorance. All the strats have niches where they dominate, learn them. Try europe 3k/5k or world games if youre seeing too much pd.

There are three qualities that encourages the use of PD in Europe+:

1) Low starting funds. This encourages the use of cheap units (Like infantries). This is true, at least, for UK and Germany.
2) Initial units are Infantries. This encourages to use a strategy that makes them useful. (Like PD).
3) MiddleGame-oriented style. This makes you look for a strategy that is not that weak on starting turns, and not that weak on later turns.

By saying that, you are most likely to find PD in UK/Germany. Then France, Then Italy/Spain, Then Turkey, and most rare is Ukraine.

for 10k eu games it depends which country are u playing tbh bt PD and imperialist kinda works with all countries
