One of the most frustrating things about IF is that militia can't move. They have 0 range. So you can't possibly empty cities even for you allies( Yes you can buy sea transport or air transport that is 10 and 20 times the price of single militia). Can we change IF to have -1 range only for militia. So that it can empty the cites and be used to make walls.

From a bit frustrated IF user.

Agreed with goblin, you can use air transports, being able to wall easily would just make it OP.

I use IF often, it's a great strategy and i don't think militia should have any movement ...think it would be a major buff.

That is what i like about this strategy, making walls with air transports, or using my general to make that little extra range to move militia.

It would have 1 range !:mad: Would it be that op ? Imagine how long it would take to attack with militia. As such every unit has range nerfed here.

The whole intention of this change is that atleast you can empty cites for your allies. Most places where you use IF are in scenarios where you just can't afford air or sea transports just to move militia.

Yes, IF militia having 1 range would mean alot. It's maybe most important thing that balances it with other strategies ...and not because i would march with militia.


how is making walls with 1 range militia op?
in that case SM needs a infantry nerf. (like DS)

No, there are inf for very good defence and militias main purpose is to wall, which is a great advantage that shouldn't be underestimated.

No, there are inf for very good defence and militias main purpose is to wall, which is a great advantage that shouldn't be underestimated.


Considering Iron Fist Militia defense = Infantry from any other strategy except PD and GC, I hardly think militia's main purpose is to wall.

I change my mind it would make it too OP, the thing about IF is you have to wall with infantry and dont get anything out of those stupid militia, you have to use AT for militia. With one you could make militia walls easily andd use the full power of those boosted infantry.

What is this some kind of ultimatum ? The whole purpose of the forum is to discuss things in order to make the game better. IF as it stands is only good for a few scenarios not a good strategy for a whole world game or even for 3 v 3 eu. This change would have made it competitive.

Premium is meant to be OP??? No, they aren't, your arguement is invalid. And pulse I mean normal militia, yes IF militia as good as or nearly as good as inf that can also wall is very OP.

Actually Premium in any game is meant to be OP. That is why it is premium !! And with militia I meant nerf militia as much as you want like remove HP advantage, reduce defense, just give it 1 range that way militia won't pose any harm in the cities but can be used to wall. This small change won't make it OP.

If you say this small change would make it OP then IF is already OP needs to nerfed which is another topic altogether.

Adding movement to militia is massively OP.

It's not even just that you can wall with militia; honestly, as long as there is one range, that means IF's expansion isn't dependent on normal cost infantry.

This means that IF could add additional reinforcements at literally no cost to the user. He just has to move the useless militia for several turns until it destroys the weak defending militia.


do not upgrade IF movement on militia. no. just stahp it.
