Roleplay is making a comeback

It seem new players are rushing in rleplay , where as the sp farmer had left rp

They get ruined easily actually.

Game I was spectating during of this writing:

Mexico rogued USA and Cuba, does some stuff.

Spain rogues France, Germany supports him.

Japan takes a SK island, therefore making him rogue.

Tbt to UN..... I miss those days. Goin rogue as Swiss bank or UN, ggnore

What if rp is actually lots of fun, and we dont know it? What if rp is actually the key for our 'small community' problem. Maybe rp is our answer to get million players to atwar.

Btw, I spectated another RP, 2 rogues (USA and Canada) and 2 leavers, one guy left just when the game started and another followed.

Btw, r6 USA takes 5 units to wall Chicago!! 5 UNITS!!!

i've played a few and it can either be fun or total bullshit lol it depends on your initial country, on your allies and the amount of them and depends on the level of allyfagness in eu or other places haha

Its fine as long as SP is limited, I don't see why people are still complaining. I was against RP and now that SP gain got reduced there is no problem for people playing it for there enjoyment.

The skill factor is still flawed I agree but enjoyment > skill sry.

You can't get all maps to be competitive.

Actually i remember now... i played 1 UN, the first UN ever created i believe, long time ago, created by Captain Magic if im not wrong.
It was private game, he needed players to test the map, and i joined, i was Russia. It was very fun game with low sp earned.
We used more diplomacy than warfare.
UN let few countries fight each other, like eastern europe, caucasus, middle east, central asia, east asia, north america, but there werent large war with sides. Eventually we allied to end. Pretty decent game where you had to use diplomatic skills and avoid death and destructions.
Need tactics rather than strategies[though military strategy can be used in diplomacy, blitzkrieg some region to 'secure it' and gain upper hand in negotiation talks].

Never played RP.

Well... at least I played the 1st (or 2nd, maybe even 3rd) non-priv UN!

I find games fun when i can play them and not be gangbanged, and that happens in RP every game.

And back in my Dalmati Pups days I was making a balanced version of the main UN. only got as far as testing Turkey vs Arab League a few times. I wonder if I should do that again, but only meant to be played by mature mates.
