When you create a game I want the option to use the old turn-block system or the new turn-block system. Implementing this would help make the game more popular, though it might be impossible to implement due to coding. The original TB was loved by older players and even new players will grow to like it. This is a compromise with both sides happy.

Can the "old players" please explain the old tb system and why it is better? ...i remember playing in 2011 and everyone was saying "do your moves quick as possible" like it was some time race.

And i say no to this ...it's either this or that, there can only be one tb system.

the TB was based on turn priority, and u had 100% chances of TB.

1th Move of Player B: Wall Random City
1th Move of Player A: attack stack of Player B.
2th Move of Player B: Attack Capital of Player A
2th Move of Player A: Bomb a stack of tanks.
3th Move of Player B: use tanks to attack stack of player A

Result: Player B walls random city, Player A TBs the stack of player B, Tanks of Player B get Bombed by Player A.

No. The turnblocking was checking what your first, second (third or fourth) move was. Time doesn't matter in this case. If your first move was made within the first second or after 3 minutes doesn't matter, because its still your first move.

I can't really say if i'm for or against turnblocking. Turnblocking gave some more 'strategic' elements. With just a few units, i was able to do some tricks and do some magic moves. I always played on until the last countries, while the current system will just work like who have most units, most likely wins. The turnblocking also had some negative effects though. When i was playing a 4mins game; i was busy turnblocking my enemy for 2minutes, walling (and repairing walls) for 1,5 minute and just 0,5 minutes for actually moving my units.
However, with the removal of the turnblock system, new bugs also came in the game (check the bug thread) which are still not solved.

-- EDIT:
On topic btw: I support this idea, but i think its impossible to add.

That is why i didn't like it back then ...because it did look to me like tricks and tb was the main part of the game.

strategy anyone?
