Update mod team

Many mods are now innactive.Some have been that way for like 200 days or even more.I think that being a mod and innactive isnt really helpfull.How about demoting these mods and placing new in their position? Or just demote them to help clean mod team.But if you do please dont make any stupid players mods.

I just reported two cheaters..on forum
but admin told me to speak to mods..
i never ever see mods in games.. and im not gonna pm someone who ignores me
so fuck the mods, mods are all forum whores addicted to status

split it in2 forum mods and game mods.

The team thinks there's no need of demoting these inactive mods.It's to appreciate what they've done to this game.

Thats why retired for moderators team metal doesnt exist for? Also no one appreciated what e mare did.

As far as I know, you are free to suggest any candidate you think would be suitable for modship to a mod in private.

I don't like demands. We're trying to answer everything we can, but we don't guarantee to reply to every single post.

Inactive mods have never been removed since we didn't feel the need.

What is the question?

Issue that has been answered long ago yet they still keep pushing for it.

To be fair out of the active mods 90% only play competitive 3v3 eu+ the other 10% is brianwl and you can find him raping several assholes at once as china in a 50k world.

Edit: columna I'm pretty sure is Ivan or amok, in disquise, only thing that makes since since iv seriously in 4 years have not seen him in a single game.

I think you should come up with a way to actually do this. I have seen you say this multiple times, but I don't think there is a way to make (or convince) the users to moderate themselves. Of course, the admins could place better restraints, and filters on chat, forums, and games, so that less nonsense will occur. But; your proposition to get the players to moderate themselves is a well-intentioned idea, but a frivolous one.

But, as for me, thanks moderators for the work you put in community. I think reform is necessary, but we have enough to naysayers.

Self-moderation is available for those who wants it - those are the ones that wants their issue to be solved. The idea is that if there's someone that can't moderate himself, the game provides you the tools to minimize the impact of that person in your gaming experience. In this sense, you don't have to moderate the whole game.

An easy example is that if a troll starts to insult you, you have the power to add the player to the ignore list. If you didn't had this feature available you would have to call a mod to get rid of the player.

As for the "ways to do it", believe me there are PLENTY of proposals made to achieve this. Meester have A LOT of ideas in regard of the topic - only problem being admin's unavailability to do them. With the map editor problem I also doubt that they come any soon. Desu also had a whole reform to the current moderator team - the standardization. But again, it requires admin's intervention - something that can't be done at the moment. It has been like that for years.

Sure, but mods don't have to take care of that as is. Admins have already implemented this feature. What about new "self-moderation", like when players farm elo from unsuspecting players (Of course, the function should be removed, and settings more visible)? Or when players hack the game (of course, better safeguards)? When players troll the forums (sure, better filters)? But, my point is, moderators are useful, because admins don't have ability to add in these feature at this moment.

Also, if everything in parentheses would be your idea of self moderation, then I support it.

I don't like demands.

I will only find my self full of disruptive emotions, and nothing ultimately accomplished. If admins care, or want to know what I (or anyone else think) about this subject, I hope they'll put up a poll. Otherwise, Ima support the mods to do everything to the best of their ability.

It doesn't matter, they can get laughed by players as much as they'd like, but then they will have to remember that they would still be the moderators and could ban/mute you whenever they'd like.
