Yes, Baltic, Finland, Central Asia, Caucasus are not Russian, they are annexed/gifted/liberated to/by Russia.

Russian expansion on Ural, Siberia and Far East can be considered expansion, but also unification; the rest of Russians/Slavs who didn't live in Russia/Ukraine where in the Ural and Siberia, somewhere minority, somewhere majority among Tatars, Mongols and other North Asian natives and indigenous people. So when Russia annexed Ural & Siberia, it unified all Russians into one State, and all other North Asian people, that's why Russia never exercised same rules and laws on them like on Russians, non-russians always had freedom to run their oblasts and tsar/state didn't interfere, like Tatarstan, Kalmykia, Caucasus Emirate, Bashkortostan, that's why they were loyal to Russia and always fought for Russia in the wars. Today it simply transformed into federation, which is modern style of running a country. These oblasts still run their lives freely.

Unlike America for instance who ethnically cleansed North America from their natives population in order to settle white europeans. Trail of Tears, reservations. It never granted freedom and rights to non-whites, up to this day.

There were no Slavs east of the Urals before the rise of the Russian Empire. Russia colonised the territory and took the natives' land. Russia also never gave rights to Catholic Ukrainians, they russified them and tried to integrate them.

How is it possible to russify russians? Or do you mean Russians tried to russify Poles? Or catholic Russians?

Ukrainian as a demonym didn't exist before 1991, because Ukraine means borderland on Russian language, just like America had frontier, that doesn't mean frontiermen were different nationality, religion or language.

Serbs had Ukraine in the 90's before Croatia invaded and annexed it. Does that mean Serbs should call themselvse Ukrainian nation?

Russia did return Belorussians to christianity after Polish occupied using same methos as Poles, that's a fact from history. Poland converted Belarus to catholicism and latinism, and when Russia liberated them, they banned catholicism and latin language from Belarus and flogged everyone opposing christianization and russification in Belorussia. Maybe it was wrong, maybe it was good, but fact remains that today 90% of belorussians consider Russia as a friendly nation, while 40% of them don't see distinction between Belorussians and Russians. Belarus and Russia have open border today and can move, settle and do business without extra paperwork or visa, practically same country. Maybe you thought about them but got confused with Ukraine.

Slavic and Germanic tribes, and all Indo-European tribes for that matter, come from the North Caucasus, that's why they're often referred to as Caucasian. The Urals were inhabited by Uralic aka Finno-Ugric people, while Siberia was inhabited by Mongolic and Turkic tribes. As for Ukraine, while Russia and Ukraine have common origins, many Ukrainians converted to Catholicism after Poles came to the region and their culture broke away from the Russian one. Russia tried to reconvert those people when they took the region back but unlike the Belorussians who had closest ties with mainland Russians the Ukrainians resisted and wanted to become independent. Ukrainian as a demonym did exist before 1991, considering the first Ukrainian state was created in 1918. As for Ukraine meaning "frontier" in Russia, Slav means slaves in Greek, are we gonna go around forcing all Slavs to build pyramids for us because of that?

Slav is derived from glory, glorious (think of ''Slava Rossiya'' = Glory to Russia) . Most if not all slavic countries call Germans a form of ''mute, foreigner'' as the Germans didn't understand their language and vice versa. Slav is not derived from slave, why would any tribe willingly and proudly name themselves slaves

Because Slavs are not the ones who named themselves Slavs, the Byzantine Greeks did.

Seems unfortunately that we have different education systems. I learned that Human Migration went from Africa, to Asia through Persia, to China, then up to Russian Far East, from there split into 2 groups from which one went for Alaska and Canada down to Americas and other group went to Siberia/Ural and Europe. While limited and small groups went directly from Africa to Europe and from Middle East to Caucasus and from there to Europe.

There is no difference between Ukrainian and Russian because Ukrainians are Russians who lived on the border of the Empire hence the name 'Borderland' and 'Bordermen' (ukrainians). It can never be nationality, language or culture. It was impossible to russify them because they were already russians. Language is not different, but have different dialect just as any other nations do, especially Germany which has 27 dialects although territory is only 500,000km/2 (Empire) or 350,000km/2 (today). Russia was 22 million km/2, it certainly had various dialects. That serves as a starting point to divide Russian people for the future wars, conflicts and instability by European powers like England, Vatikan, jesuits, masons.

And it finally happened in WW1 when European armies marched into Russia, placing puppets in Western Russia and teaching them to call it 'Ukraine' 'Ukrainian nationality' 'ukrainian language', those puppets found uneducated masses and fools who wanted power or simply hated Russia, and created a 'nation', which was amplified in USSR with Stalin's коренизация and then with Stepan Bandera in WW2 bringing Nazism into Nationalism and creating one of them most evil country that every existed on the planet - Ukraine.

Go check on google Poland-US disagreements over sending troops to Ukraine and accepting them into NATO. Poland remember how Ukrainians raped, tortured and genocided Poles in WW2 and won't simply go over it in order to have another member in military alliance to fight Russia.

As for Cossack Hetmanate and Zaporozhian Sich, they were Cossacks/Kozaks(Kazaks, not to mix with Kazakhs), not Russians or Ukrainians. Kozaks are Slaving branch but not completely Russian although they speak Russian with different dialect, are christians. Kazak mean free man and they cherished their liberty, they were never ruled by Russian laws and had autonomy in Western Russia (borderland/ukraine) and Caucasus. Half of them lived in Russia (Don Kazaks, Terek Kazaks, Ural Kazaks) while other half lived in the Borderland(ukraine), like Zaporozhets Kazaks. They weren't part of Russia until they signed Pereyaslav Treaty in 1654

Why this sentence have to do with anything? Greek mean uglyface on Russian, does that mean we have to laugh at Greeks?

What does human migration have to do with this? I am talking about Indo-Europeans. By the time Indo-Europeans left the North Caucasus, the entire earth was already populated, and the regions of the Urals and Siberia specifically was inhabited by Finno-Ugrics and Turko-Mongols respectively.

Ukrainians were Russians back when the name "Ukraine" was created, but that was 400 years ago. Since then the culture of the region was changed by the fact that Poles and even Crimeans influenced the region while for many years Russia had no contact with Ukraine since their military efforts were focused around the Smolensk area. Therefore Ukrainian culture differented from the Russian one over the years. If you take an ethnic group, split it in two and cut contact between the two groups for 200 years, do you think they will still be the same nation afterwards?

How are Ukrainian war crimes related to weather Ukrainians are Russian or not? Weather you believe Ukraine is evil or not has nothing to do with weather it's Russian or not.

The Zaporzhian Sich and the Cossacks was a result of Poland trying to turn the people of Ukraine into Poles. As such they left the large cities and founded Cossack communities where they could live as they wanted. But as their lifestyle changed so did their culture and slowly they developed their own history of war, struggle, art and such, and in the end when the Cossacks revolted they tried to form their own state rather than be absorbed by Russia, however theyfailed to do that because they needed Russia's support in the war and agreed to be an autonomous region instead. However many Cossacks didn't agree with that and believed they're better off with the Poles or Ottomans which lead to a Cossack civil war known as the Ruin which resulted in Ukraine being partitioned between the three powers. The Cossacks retained relative autonomy until they decided that they once again want to break off and tried doing so under Ivan Mazepa, but his rebellion failed and Russia disbanded the Hetmanate's autonomy. When the Bolsheviks came to power they attempted to integrate the Cossacks of Ukraine, an event known as Decossackization. My point is that the Ukrainian nation is the spiritual successor of the Cossacks and their culture and tradition.

Lol this is completely biased... You didn't list any American presidents.

George Washington had an extravagant birthday feast while the American Army starved...Spent $6,000 on that alone, and at the time $6,000 was a fuckload more than it is now. He used up so much money on personal expenditure over his 2 turns omfg and they call him one of the best presidents. Wonder how bad the worst presidents were.
