Also the Fappino being replaced thing has been phrased poorly. We proposed Tirp as a deputy so that he can command our home defense Fleet while fappino goes to war and in case Carthage assassinates or kills fappino in battle we don't lose the entire command structure of the navy. We proposed him as a Vice Admiral. I don't like how Tunder phrased it.

I suggest attacking Carthage ASAP. Gain a foothold in the land for our main force to arrive. We can gain income from looting and resources of the land. Wait 2 more years and we should have enough to fully invade.

Frankly speaking we need a numerical majority to win battles and we won't get money to sustain it in a single turn or even the next 2. Build up slowly. It's how everything happens in real life. You don't and can't just spam out fleets and legions and attack. Rome will go into debt. And once that happens we all lose.

Carthage cant attack us. That's not how the game works.

on fappino.. Why would he be killed if we sent him to war with an adequate amount of ships?

If you take into consideration the turn by turn expense of having an inactive army you'll realise we'll be worse off. The ones we already built will cost an additional 12 coin per turn... If we have 13 inactive units we're losing 26 coin per turn... If we don't build more after that and attack on say turn 4.. We'll be 72 coin worse off... That's 7 legions worse off which could make a huge difference.

Save the expenses and build what we need only when we plan to attack.

That's why we should build them the turn we intend to use them... Buy additional 15 legions and 5 ships in 2 more turns... War with Carthage depletes our army while still securing the win.. Additional revenue from Carthage covers the expense of the remaining army.. Allowing Rome to secure its income

DONT BUY THEM YET, THERE IS NO POINT, IT WILL ONLY COST US MORE!!!!
