Canadian Oil, We annex Canada. We build up our Oil Reserves for sole military use. We switch to green energy (forcibly). All We need is Jet fuel for the Abrams, Apaches and Jets. Our navy runs on Nuclear Reactors regardless.
Side note, America was in a position like this before, the war of 1812, yes we did not win it, nor can you clearly say we lost the war. However, before the war there was little to no home industries, we relied almost 80% of manufactured products from Britain. After the war, there was a clear significant industry of home-grown industries. Mexico, Alaska and Canada still can supply us enough oil to continue waging war. Oil would be rationed as it was in WW2 for home-use. Railways would be used in the same manner as they were in the Civil War and the World War 2, movement of troops and war materials.
Economies during wars do stagnate, the cut off of abundant oil during the war would promote change to bio fuels, ethanol and hydrogen fuel cells. I'm not saying it would be a wonderland dream, no it would be a strenuous change. What I'm basically implying is the war wouldn't economically destroy America, but merely a restart.
Air and Naval Supremacy wins wars, the war for skies in the Pacific and Near America would be a blow over for us. Perhaps it would be a war of industries, however many forget our industries implement more technologies as far as robotics. And the Japanese had to fight being swamped by patriots and the Chinese National Army (however you think it goes in Ult WW2), China killed more of its own civilians than it did the Japanese. Japan only lost because of American Pressure. You're pitting an Army who only trains and another who since WW2 has fought a campaign in nearly every decade. America gets the edge in military training and combat experience. The Japanese had the same advantage over China.

You forgot about anonymous. They will really hate, they will expand and hack you a lot. In fact, many countries would shelter Anons so they can hack safely. When 2 countries and a rogue faction decide to go cyber warfare, you won't have a great time. Look at Target, rogue hackers. Now imagine gov hackers. You'll be done. Conquering Canada? Like no one is gonna help them. Or they won't keep rebelling. Or they won't burn they're own oil, so you won't have none of it. SDI? Yeah right, when thousands if warheads go off I want to see your SDI take them down.

Remember that 70 percent of the German armies were focused on Russia, yet have failed. So there is quite a chance that Canadians could in fact at least bring chaos, like boycotts and burning oil.

Lol, I will end my campaign until the masses see that they need me when their issues become to much to handle and the only solution is my policies. Or perhaps when you realize you need an emperor to replace the puppet emperor that will be Ted Cruz. Have ahappy New Year's
