Carriers

Wouldent having carriers as part of a naval force make sence? have the ability to hold 10 bombers or so, would make it possible to reach out farther in a single turn

or at least make it possible to assign more than 1 unit to be transported by a particular unit

It would be interesting to make this as an option at least for custom units. I'm sure this idea has been brought up before, but until the mapmaker is up and running don't expect a new unit to come out quickly.

It's all ready possible in custom games. It will never come to default map due to the fact it will ruin the competitive meta game.

They can't carry bombers. I tried in an RP game. An aircraft carrier could carry Infantry, and tanks, and militia, but not bombers and fighters....

All that we would need is to make the editor have an option "Can only carry and then a drop down menu with all the available units so you can add what units it can carry

Because rps are most made by incompetent map makers, the true skilled map makers know how to edit units to allow only a certain unit to be transported. In this case bombers. Most notibly is the carrier in the Pacific theatre of tik tok ww2 they can only care air units.

using the current edition of the editor we only have the ability to select 1 unit for the carrier. if someone was to have bombers, fighters, interceptors and in my case torpedo bombers.... its limited

So make different types of carriers. Even in real life there are supercarriers, fleet carriers, command carriers, escort carriers etc.
Make bomber carriers, fighter carriers, interceptor carriers blah blah blah. As it is you seem to be going for a large unit diversity. What's 3-4 more units?

Thats what i did originaly lol, however im trying to reduce my unit count from 180 to 80......

I had no idea this was possible (Then again I'm not a mapmaker don't crucify me please <3 )
