I'm sorry really, didn't know that your IQ is so low that everything needs to be explained to you. You can correct me if i'm wrong but is there a stronger argument than playing with your friends in a coalition where every member has just one purpose - To prove they are the strongest on AW. well i know one thing: i don't know you, which is weird because i usually know the names of most of the competitive players since i use to play them in europe 3v3/10k world/5k world FFA/clan war/ww2/tournament/off-topic/forum.

Wow chicken, its easy to see that you don''t know anything about aw. Its your fault that your skill so low so you can't even get to a normal coalition. What the fuck do you think SM, MK, VS, SYNDICATE ,BiteMe , Illyria ,SA are? Do you even know that syndicate's ,BiteMe and illyria core members are not even active anymore and still there are a lot of loyal players that stayed there because it's their coalition where they experienced great stuff with each other. Why do you think i'm in SA? It's because I'm loyal to devil and I guarantee there are a fuckload of members like that. You are way to inexperienced to even talk to me, so I will ignore your replays. I feel sorry for you even more.

They are playing some other game, that is so far from comparing to our loved afterwind. Skill wise, we cant even compare. Why? Did they ever play and win a 3k or 5k World game( with playing against some strongest players in aw) ?

prove to us that scenarios take no skill, for instance MoS is used more in scenarios than outside scenarios.

I think that the reason this game stooped so low (competitive) is because admins gave too much to the scenario players ( because there's more cash to it , its a lot easier, etc).

No, afterwind was dead before scenarios. if anything scenarios revived the game.

I'm a Beta Trooper so I played this game since it started and I've been on and off depending did I get bored or not and since the begging I ALWAYS SEE THE SAME FACES.

2011, 2012, 2013... it makes no difference since we are about to hit 2016.

Props to some new players that are there now like firefist, swan and etc. But that's not even close how much there's new scenario focused players. If they have something to tell , or talk prove it on custom games BECAUSE THAT'S AW , why should I prove myself on a scenario ? That's like proving myself to some player on Counter Strike 1.6 mod (ski jump, surviive and etc) ,

that is so offensive, you clearly have no idea what scenarios are and probably have never played a decent one, many scenario players could defeat you in any scenario you pick.

the real proving was done on a 5v5 match,and the winner gets the bragging rights.

Players that play scenarios don't know anything about AW, they don't know the feeling of tryhard to get r7-8 just so you can play 3v3 , show off your skill and get recruited by some coalition so they can teach you even more knew things about AW and play competitive.

scenario players are the most "rankists" people in atwar, you can't even join the scenario if you are lower than rank 7.

For me this scene is dying because you can see everywhere scenario players that get cocky because they can win a scenario , but never played a cw.

AW has always been about its competitive scene and when that scene dies ,AW will also die. There are always some scenario players that stand out ,and props to them, but 90% of those players wouldn't have the skill they have if they didn't start playing default games and learned from there.

how so? a lot of decent scenarios are based on default world map and the rest emulate it, how can they obtain no skill? maybe you should duel a scenario player in a random custom map and lets see how well you do.

well,i decided to do some 1v1s and 3v3s yesterday,won all 1v1s and lost 1 3v3 becuase of html that DCd me.

They proved themselves by playing and winning and their name will be remembered because of that, yours will not come even close like to that.

I guess part of the problem is some notion amongst the mostly scenario/custom map playing community is that they are somehow good at atwar. Calculated intelligence is something you see very little of these days in other players gameplay, even amongst some of those in the competitive community who are considered good. I have played all the players from the "other side" of the argument in this thread and not a single one of them are good.

civ/njab, find some random custom map neither of us have played and we can duel on it. I'll provide a quick demonstration of the skill gap that exists. If you dont wish to do this find some scenario/custom map player who you consider good and have them duel me. a free shot at a 1500 elo player outside the maps he usually plays. Should be easy elo right? I am not interested in maps that

1: have 1 pick which is far more powerful than the rest, ie. that medieval map kord plays
2. Maps like king of the hill(for obvious reasons).

Edit: I propose best of 3.. with 3 random maps.. no claims of luck at the end of it. Whoever wins settles the argument of what type of player is most "adaptable".. and I represent custom map players, minus RP players

Khal, when I started to play WW2 and other games I was a rank 7 in a dead clan so there wasn't any possibility for me to be interested in CWs. Even when I joined syndicate, I still played the map for a long time because there were only Spart, Opulon (got kicked just some few days), Primal (inactive) and (waffel? we still discussing about this). With so few people again there was no way I could be interested in CWs...

You can't know more about my AW career than myself....

Apparently I did. You're right, that screenshots really looks similar to what the axis were trying to do (Caucasus instead of Stalingrad though, fun fact is that Azerbaijan is the richest country of the URSS and I never knew why....).

Maybe I never got to play unleashed in tik-tok's WW2. Doesn't changes the fact that I was (and still I am) a frequent scenario player though.

Good proposal and I see that nor Tunder nor Phoenix are scared to prove their potential.

You guys should challenge more default-like players though, like Dbacks. That would'be a lot more even.

1. Tunder vs Dbacks.
2. Tunder vs Phoenix.
3. Phoenix vs Dbacks.

And then a 1vs1vs1 on full Lunatic map (Safari's, I'm sure none of you three had played this).
