Blitzkrieg Tournament - Rank 7 and up only
Throughout the entire month of January, players will be able to participate in the following tournament:
Challenge details:
Win a game in any World Map Preset (the official world map made by AtWar) playing the Blitzkrieg strategy. Gain points for winning.
Reward:
Players with the most points at the end of the month receive trophies, PC, and SP.
First Place
- 2500 Protocoins
- 50,000 SP
Second Place
- 1000 Protocoins
- 25,000 SP
Third Place
- 500 Protocoins
- 10,000 SP
Participation Trophy
How-to:
In any world map preset, you must play as the strategy Blitzkrieg and win the game. For each game you win you will earn points based on the preset you won on:
Full World map: 1
Africa: 2
Americas: 2
Pacific: 3
Mediterranian: 3
Greater Middle East: 2
Eurasia: 1
South America: 2
North America: 2
Latin America: 3
Eurasia + Africa: 1
SE Asia + Oceania: 3
Asia + Oceania: 2
Europe: 2
Europe+: 1
Winning a 1v1 on any of these presets: 1.5
ally ending: your points are half-sized.
You must screenshot your strategy (units tab), and include the game link in your screenshot (as shown below) AND include a copy-paste game link next to your screenshot.

Rules:
- Game name must be "<username> Blitzkrieg Tournament"
- 4 minute turns.
- Up to 25k funds
- Winning conditions must be: capture enemy capital for x amount of turns.
- You should have at least two other players besides yourself. (go to FAQ for anything below the two-player limit)
- Alts, cheating, farming, rule-breaking, etc will NOT be allowed under any circumstances. You will automatically be disqualified if found out doing so.
Participation trophies will be given out to those who deserve it.
P.S.: To participate in the tournament, just post your first screenshot of you winning and we will consider you in the tournament,
FAQ
What if I ally-end?
Your points will be half-sized.
What if I win another person's game?
Say you did, provide the screenshots and it will be counted.
What if I have less than two players?
Say you did in your post, provide the screenshots and it will be counted.
Your games must be evenly matched though, otherwise, it's considered farming. The game will not be counted in that case.
What if I and another participant win the same game?
Both you and that participant get the points. Please mention the other participant in the post. It's the host of the game's job to do so.
If the participant is not mentioned, it's the participant's fault and loss.
What if I tie with another player at the end of the tournament?
There will be a deathmatch for that place.

This was maybe very fine idea in theory; in practice it is horrible. At least about trophies. Majority of played games doesnt even have more than 200 sp, it became just spamming of fast, low sp, mid rank farming games to get some participating trophy or even more. Its a bullshit. As a known Blitz fag lover, I wanted to participate this more than anyone, but I won't. Trophies just shouldn't be spammed around and given that easily to that big amount of people.... and for what? For playing few fast 100 sp games which are done in several turns after farming on lower and mid ranks...  It shouldn't even be continued imo in this way, there were already few pretty fine suggestions on the beggining of this how it should be re-done (as a tourney or restricted amount of players who are participating without randoms)

This is meant for the AW masses. If you're complaining about trophies being spammed, I highly suggest you look at the tourneys that have been played over the years. I understand this may not be something for players such as you, who play for skill and *earn* it but this event isn't for that kind of game. This is something to include players in the most simplistic way as possible. ALL players. Also most other tourneys, especially competitive ones are the same way SP wise, game wise. This is no different from the CW system either. Just the fact it takes not as much skill, effort, etc. Other than that is is a complete utter game spam. Also just to add on, before your resignment from the team I had this event up and ready to post in October. You had plenty of time to participate. I even include you still. I will state this again as I've been stating it; this event is meant for the masses. Not for a small portion of AW. Especially for the winning rewards; its be a waste for us to host a small event for such a big reward. No competition; you're just vsing the same people in a small group. Now that's no fun. Edit: Also you claim farming lower and mid ranks when we literally have rules against that in the tourney and have such regulations about naming your game, etc...

I think you misunderstand this as some sort of Competitive supremacy tournament, when in fact this is supposed to just be random chaos fun for the masses, not catering to the competitive crowd.
