How did you discover Afterwind?

I searched for an Risk game...found something better...

I found out on Kongregate, and I've regretted playing the gay game ever since, because I'm hooked, no matter how bad I am.

I went to visit family who i havnt seen for years. we all played a board game called axis and allies and would have liked to play a game online as the distance is very great so visiting in person is rare. i heard from them about this game and while ironically, we have never played together, my siblings and i all play it

I was on Kongregate.

while i was playing world rebellion 2 (simple risk game) someday when that game failed i read in the comments a new game called afterwind and is on kongregate so i was like lets give it a try and kept playing until now

I don't even remember at this point.

Just looked up Strategy war games on google images i said "that looks cool" & now i play the shit out of this game.

Kongregate! Also glad to see many comrades from there

I found it from a friend who found it on Google when looking for Risk games.

I did not, I discovered AW! (subtle hint for new thread that has been made less subtle by this side-note)

I found it because of this mount and blade napoleonic wars regiment i was in, we had these games like every other day on atwar

Stumbled upon it while I was horribly ill and bedridden in the spring of 2012. I was laying on the couch, made bathroom runs when I needed to urgently go, and played some online, multiplayer Risk and eventually stumbled here. I did not find this game through Google, though. So I was on the couch, drinking fluids like crazy and having radical cramps, while playing Afterwind.

Years ago, I was lost and alone, left to wander the cold streets. Then, one night after a day of fighting to survive, I had a dream. In this dream, the great Zizou came to me, and told of the land of Afterwind, where I could find acceptance, friendship, and love. To this land I traveled, and find those thing I did. Zizou saved me when I needed him most. Zizou is love, Zizou is life.

I'm pretty sure I just googled 'risk online' or something like that. after that I never looked back.. AtWar became life
