My idea to reform current controversy-dogged CW system

I think that competence should still exist, but it shouldn't be the default guide for winning CWs.

competence should serve as a tie breaker. Only because I can think of nothing better do so.

Everybody keeps trying to make this so hard and complicated. I say, subtract a clan's losses from it's wins to determine it's true win count. Clans with a higher 'true win count', are higher in ranking.

So clan A and clan B have 75 wins and 20 losses. This means their true win count is 55.
There is a tie, that's why we have competence. I don't like it, but I can't think of any other possible tie breaker that will work 100% of the time.

Clan A has 2.0 comp and Clan B has 3.5 comp.

Clan B wins the season.

Now, I know what you're thinking,
"That doesn't solve anything wwaaahhh"

Of course it doesn't. Nothing will solve that.
But, it forces the coalitions to either a) Fight each other and determine a victor or b) Let the one with the most comp win.

Any other way you look at it, in terms of tie breaking, either you have to have some secondary ranking or scoring system, or you need to have the coalitions face off. That's the only way to determine the victor, the first place. The heavy weight champion, mate.

Anyway, I think it's dumb to make winning a CW worth 3 points and losing worth 2. Be straightforward. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. We shouldn't make things greater or less than what they really are.

If a clan has 10 wins and 4 losses, it's win count is 6.
Another clan with 20 wins and 8 losses, win count is 12.
The latter won more than the former, it wins. Simple.

A clan has 51 wins, 1 losses
L clan has 100 wins, 50 losses
In my opinion, these are not equal.
Regardless of the absolute win/loss values, percentage of win/loss is more important, I think.
All good clans maintain a low loss rate, but, some good clans don't play against clans that they think are beneath them.
Any way that that the subtraction-of-losses-to-get-wins system is implemented, it will not work well.

I see your point.
In any case, percentages then, what exactly do you mean? Like. fe. in your model clan K has 100%, A has ~100% and L has 50%?
That would make sense, and I'd be all for that.

► We were 1st clan yesterday.
► We played against evoL and won.
► We replaced a +50 victory by a +50, they replaced a +79 with -50.
► They are 1st with 690 CP, we are 2st with 679.

I am also wondering how this CP get calculated, because in 20 games, " It display 11 victory and 9 defeath". This is wrong, in clan page we have 10 victory and 10 defeath:
