Server Trouble

Major server trouble. I can login, but can't access my games. Disconnect, loads, refresh, login.. Same thing.

I also believe my opposing player is having no such trouble. I cannot tell. A game ruined though.

Yes, I lost the game. Yes, I'm mad. I'm pretty sure the opposing player just finished their turns quick to achieve victory. Well that was a waste of an hour or more. They also latejoined while I conquered my enemy from the start.

Im the only one having trouble from what I can tell. Internets fine though.

Yeah, this is getting worse now. It keeps booting me and I disconnect. I can't play like this. Ill come back in an hour and hopefully someone can help. I hope this doesn't persist or there's no way I can play.

I remember I had commented on this, maybe it was on a philipho post, but it is true indeed that the mornings of GMT times are the worst for server instability, however you seem more susceptible to this.

I remember at that time I was also in the gameroom as well.
No problem for me at that moment, usually I suffer pretty much like Tik-Tok at the same time.

Though sometimes I encounter server instability, obviously the frequency has dropped a lot.
I suppose the admin or the server provider has really done improvements. GJ
If no, then just forget about it.

It's doing it again. I'm sick and tired of this. Another game. Another game I'm winning where every turn is important. This disconnection is getting worse. It's not even morning GMT.

Can someone find out why at least?

I have not experienced this myself. Perhaps its not a server issue? At any rate, I am sure Amok and Ivan will look into it when they can. Remember they are on holiday so please be patient.

This server has down syndrome. deal with it.

Is this similar to a problem I've found where I make my moves, go away and if I come back before the round ends I see that none of my moves have been saved. Added to this is the occasional increase if funds, loss of funds, missing units, crucial moves not made...I currently have some infantry floating in the sea as the transport has turned into a militia. At the start of the turn there's not even the battle summary so sometimes I'm just not sure if there's been some odd reversal or not....:wall:

Just had a similar problem, was totally kicking A** then sudden dropout and couldn't reconnect. Can get to the website but not the game, login errors...reconnecting etc

This just happened to me, sigh such bullshit. Two and a half hours down the drain. I now feel your pain, Tok.

I'm getting tired of this server trouble. It disconnected, I waited, reconnected, still failed, waited. Tried again, logged in. Make my turn, disconnected.

This server trouble is getting progressively worse.

Quick note to everyone, if you read the shoutbox ivan said he restarted the server.

Weird disconnects as I mentioned in the other post, certain players get disconnected together for no reason.
Also there are massive lag spikes for everyone at frequent intervals (no pattern though).

Server keeps disconnecting me, although my internet connection is fine...

Can someone just explain this server trouble once and for all?

their host is unreliable (cos Finnish and spilling vodka all over the servers)

I can't connect either.

We're doing what we can to resolve this. The problem is somewhere very deep, possibly in a system dll. Sorry about your game...

Not a problem, I just want an explanation as it tends to be random without warning and no one knows what's going on.

My moves still randomly don't go through, ESPECIALLY when I use submarines.
