What is it?

Why do so many people bring it up on the internet. When, "The left" don't even tend to like it or know very little about it?

Its the belief that everything in the current society is made up race, gender, nationality, wealth, status etc to divide the working class.
It seeks to destroy these values untill true "equality" is achived by the destruction of most of these norms...it is very much happening.
But...to be real you will find most of the dumbass cuckservatives who watched 3 episodes of prageru and ben shaprio using it to have no idea what it means.

Cultural Marxism is a thinly veiled reference to 'Cultural Bolshevism', a term used by the National Socialists (Nazis). When I see it used, it's all kinda retarded and cringe.

But, it does have a miniscule (I stress the word miniscule) droplet of truth. Marxism is not just an economic policy, it's a social doctrine. It's a way of life. In a communist society, there is no religion, no race, no family, no creed, just the 'proletariat' and the 'bourgeoisie'; only the exploiters and the exploited. I mean it sounds good on paper, but life is more complicated than that. It's insane to believe all the ills of the world are caused by "the bourgeoisie". These people blame the american slave trade on "racist capitalism" despite the fact slavery has been in practice ever since the Ancient Egyptians enslaved the Israelites to build the pyramids.

"Cultural Marxism" is the belief that a select group of people are pushing for the undermining of nationality and other social hierarchies to bring a unneeded 'class war' and bring upon a false utopia. These rootless cosmopolitians or 'Frankfurt school intellectuals' is a sort of MacGuffin or lite scapegoat. It's the McCarthyian belief that a group of pointy hatted liberals are brainwashing the masses through art, film, and literature to create, in the eyes of such conservatives, the dystopia that was present in the Eastern Bloc and other communist countries.

First time i heard about it from Croat few years back, he made a big post with some images were all people of color are black and are replacing white people in the northern hemisphere. I refreshed the page while i was reading it but it was gone, someone deleted it. its just another internet hate ideology.

maybe because in the past, people on the internet were using it to be ironic, but as the internet grew popular and was the 'in' thing, you get a hoard of retards going on to edgy image forums like 4chan and posting retarded shit without even knowing how to triforce and getting trolled into actually believing some retarded shit. eventually, these hoards of retarded newfags outnumbered the oldfags and the irony was lost.

If you look at right- wing / alt-right political parties in europe, the term is used/supported quite frequently. 2019 biggest political party in Netherlands coined this term. Biggest party in Belgium coined this term both alt-right/ right wing. Term can be strongly associated with Trumps views / presidency. Ben Shapiro or J. Peterson are known to support this term so its not a circle jerking by edgy teens or retarded boomers.
